Abby Daunis, PT, DPT

Ortho-pelvic Physical Therapist

Abby is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions. She earned her doctorate from Texas Woman’s University, School of Physical Therapy in 2013. She has worked as an outpatient physical therapist since that time. She is certified in dry needling, cupping, Kinesiotaping, SFMA level 1, and USATF level 1. Abby is passionate about endurance sports. She is a runner and triathlete. Abby has completed three marathons and numerous half-marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks. She competes in triathlons ranging from sprint distance to Half Iron Man distance. Abby thoroughly enjoys working with endurance athletes, helping people return to sport and improve their performance. She is also a member of a local triathlon club called BEAT. Abby is also passionate about pelvic health. She has taken continuing education courses to become a pelvic floor physical therapist. Examples of some conditions she can treat include pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, birth prep, postpartum recovery, tailbone pain, pain with intercourse, diastasis recti, and pelvic organ prolapse. Being a mother herself, Abby understands the importance of pelvic floor physical therapy, especially in the postpartum period. You will find Abby training, reading, crafting, or chasing two little boys around a park with her husband when not working. Her favorite thing about physical therapy is simply helping people to feel better.
